Cervical polyp is a kind of chronic cervicitis, it is because the chronic inflammation stimulation causes the cervix local hyperplasia of mucosal tissues, and because of own tendency rejection, resulting in the proliferation of mucosa gradually from the base to the cervix and the formation of prominent polypoidchange, therefore is also called cervical endometrial polyps.
